7 maja do zespołu Centrum Międzynarodowej Wymiany Młodzieży i Wolontariatu – FIYE Polska dołączyła wolontariuszka z Francji, Zoe Bertrand. Przez 12 miesięcy wolontariuszka będzie wspierać działania FIYE związane z popularyzacją wolontariatu międzynarodowego i zaangażowania młodzieży w działania na rzecz społeczności pułtuskiej.

Zoe o sobie:
"Hi, I’m the first EVS volunteer of Centrum Miedzynarodowej Wymiany Mlodziezy i Wolontariatu – FIYE Polska in Pultusk. My name is Zoé, I come from France. I studied history at the University of Reims, the capital of Champagne, particularly history of religion between 17th and 18th century. I also studied sociology with specialisation in culture and heritage at the University of Amiens. Amiens is a really nice city nicknamed "small Venice”.
During my studies in Amiens I did a training in Concordia NGO and I was a workcamp leader, which was a really great experience. Thanks to Concordia I discovered the possibility to go for European Voluntary Service… and now I’m in Pultusk !
In my opinion EVS is a great opportunity to discover another country and its inhabitants. We have a chance to meet different people with different cultures, learn about these differences and about ourselves. I think EVS means opening to the world.
I’ve been always interested in history and culture of Eastern Europe, I’d like to know more. Moreover, my grandmother was Polish, even if I didn’t know her it was “nice” to come in Poland. Of course, the project of FIYE and actions of the association appeals to me !
I’m in Pultusk for one year, I hope to participate in animating the life of my new town!"
Pobyt Zoe Bertrand w naszym stowarzyszeniu jest finansowany z programu Komisji Europejskiej „Młodzież w działaniu”, Akcja 2 – Wolontariat Europejski.
